NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

The College has one unit of NSS consisting of 100 volunteers.† The unit functions under a programme officer.† The students have to apply on a prescribed form to seeking admission to the unit.
Students enrolled as NSS volunteers are required to put in a least 120 hours of social work twice in a week and attend one camp of 10 days duration to become eligible to receive a certificate.† The special camp at University level and a National Integration camp are also arranged every year, generally during summer/winter vacation.

Activities are conducted under the guidance, supervision and control of Programme Officer and a Committee headed by Principal as Patron.

†††††††††† GENERAL RULES

  1. No outsider is allowed to enter the College without a valid reason.
  2. A girl student shall have to be in proper uniform i.e. White Kameez and Salwar. Without uniform girl students will not be allowed to enter the College.
  3. Students who remain absent from the College without permission shall be fined Re. 1/- per class in working days.
  4. If a student is absent from the College without permission for more than 15 consecutive days, he/she shall be struck off from the college roll.
  5. Unlawful assembly of the students in the College is banned.
  6. Writing of gratification on the walls or sticking posters is a cognizable offence.
  7. Ragging in any form, on or off the College campus, is a cognizable offence and the† students involved in ragging will be severely punished and dealt under Supreme Court ruling even to the extent of being expelled from the College.
  8. A student desirous of withdrawing his/her name from the College rolls should submit an application countersigned by the parent/guardian of the student.† The withdrawal certificate shall be issued only after the student clears all outstanding College dues.† Such students shall in no case be re-admitted during the same Academic Session.
  9. All the permissible refunds should be claimed within six months of leaving the College after which the amount shall lapse.
  10. The above rules may be changed, modified or suspended as and when required by the College authority.

The College reserves the right to make changes in the rules and regulations, conditions governing the conduct of students, fee structure at any point of time without prior notice.
The College accepts no responsibility for the hardships or expenses incurred by the students or any other person for such changes, additions and errors or omissions.

Prevention of Ragging and Use of Cell Phone in the College
As per the standing direction of Honíble Supreme Court of India the ragging in all the educational institutions is banned. If any incident of raging comes to the notice of the college authorities, the college authority would expel the defaulter from the institution forthcoming.
No student is allowed to take/ carry the mobile phone in the college campus during working hours. In case any mobile phone is found in possession of a student during working hours in the college campus, mobile phone will be seized.
All the students will have to keep their identity card with them when they enter the college campus. The same shall be checked by the college staff/ gatekeeper/ Police.
