Govt. Degree College Banihal came into being on May 5, 2008, to cater to the educational aspirations of students of this far flung area. To commemorate this great development in this hilly area of our J&K State, College Foundation Day was celebrated on May 5, 2013 wherein refreshment was distributed among the students, while impressing upon them to take full advantage of higher educational facilities avai lable to them now at their doorstep.
